Whether you're living with a mental health condition yourself, supporting a partner or worried about a child or young person in your life, we're here to help you make sense of it.
This page brings together practical information, support options, and resources for anyone navigating parental mental health problems, including parents, carers, extended family and friends.
WHERE TO GET SUPPORT
Whoever you are, and whatever your role, you are not alone. Visit our get help page if you or someone else needs immediate support. If it’s an emergency, always call 999 first.
UNDERSTANDING WHAT'S GOING ON
When a parent has a mental health problem, it can impact the whole family. Children and young people may take on responsibilities, feel anxious, or struggle to understand what’s happening. This doesn’t mean someone isn’t a good parent, it means the right support matters.
